Lately, I’ve been diving into AI creative tools, and the results have been a mix of surprising and stunning—from the unsettling to the incredibly realistic. There’s something exciting about the unexpected discoveries you stumble upon through image prompts. Right now, it’s a powerhouse for brainstorming complex visuals. Video still has some work to do, but every now and then, you find a touch of magic.

For the launch of the Rocket Visa Signature Card, I led a team of creatives in developing a campaign for the first-ever rewards credit card for Rocket Mortgage. The team included in-house writers, designers, editors, and animators, as well as third-party studios. Our work encompassed two key campaigns: a teaser campaign to build excitement ahead of the launch, and a fully digital campaign that highlighted the benefits of homeownership, featuring a diverse cast to resonate with a broad audience.

The Rocket Mortgage Super Bowl Squares campaign, where I led the creative, was a standout success, generating 2.6 billion impressions and driving 2,200,292 registrations, representing a 53% increase from the previous year. This interactive campaign allowed participants to enter a free contest where they could win cash prizes based on the score of the game, aligning the excitement of football with the thrill of winning. I oversaw the art direction with external animation studios, ensuring a visually engaging experience, and worked closely with NFL Hall of Famer Barry Sanders to amplify the campaign’s reach. By leveraging dynamic digital ads, targeted messaging, and influencer partnerships, we engaged millions of football fans across the U.S., significantly boosting Rocket Mortgage's brand visibility and consumer engagement. The campaign not only drove record participation but also seamlessly integrated Rocket Mortgage into the Super Bowl experience, creating a lasting impact on both new and existing customers.
