Welcome to the Flip Side
The first and only credit card designed for homeownership.
THE ROCKET VISA SIGNATURE CARD
This was a big moment for Rocket. They were introducing their first credit card, which was also the first credit ever to offer rewards toward homeownership. Rates were rising and inventory remained low, making homeownership feel out of reach. This card helped put it back within reach. It flipped credit card rewards on their head, allowing a cardholder to cover closing costs or pay down their mortgage principal and save thousands over the life of their loan. But, because it was new and such a game changer, people thought it was too good to be true, which meant there were two challenges the creative needed to solve for.

Credit Card Teaser
First, introduce it. We started with an amped up reveal campaign starting with saucy teasers that ran for a week leading up to the full reveal.
Credit Card Reveal
The reveal work focused on the card as a game changer and built recognition through repetition and pattern. It also introduced the use of pedestals as a brand element, tying the Rocket Visa Card to Rocket Mortgage work launching at the same time.

Second, the creative needed to help people believe in it. We focused on demonstrating the day-to-day benefits of using the card. We focused on key purchase personalities and buying behaviors everyone could relate to.
So whether you’re grocery shopping …

Flip Side Campaign – Full Cast
The brief challenged us to capture enough unique creative from one shoot to fuel an entire year of marketing needs. We took our creative strategy of “Purchase Personalities,” mixed that with the target audiences (homeowner, homebuyer and first-time homebuyer) and sauced out a cast of characters, so there’s a little something to relate to for everyone.
Fun Fact: Once we landed on our main characters, we cast their real-life families, spouses, partners, etc. for a dash of genuine emotion in every interaction.
